Brothers and sisters, the Holy Spirit has guided you here. This is the only place in the world with the answer to the most enigmatic time-period passages in the Bible:

These and other Bible verses all point to Jesus' glorious return to earth in 25 years.

What is the Meaning of Life?

God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, all-present, eternal, unchanging, infinite, and all-loving. He loves you immeasurably.

God created the universe and everything in it over a period of six days. This took place about six thousand years ago, although it seems like the physical world is much older than that. He did not do this in order to confound us by making faith in Him at odds with geology and astronomy. Rather, He wanted to provide a beautiful home for us.

Mankind is the pinnacle of God's Creation. In fact, He made us in His image. God intended for us to live to glorify and enjoy Him, and to never be in want. But a spiritual saboteur, the devil, enticed our first ancestors to sin. Since that time, all people have lived under the curse of their original sin. This is the reason for the fallen nature of every human being. This is the reason for death and every form of suffering.

God had originally created the devil as a beautiful angel, but the devil and some other angels chose to turn against God. Then the devil tempted mankind into sin, and all Creation fell with mankind's fall. God created both us and the angels with freewill, and He knew that all these things would happen when He created us.

God could have ended the human experiment there, but in His love He had a plan. He was, and is still, determined to do everything possible to save whomever can be saved among the human race. He therefore set out upon an audacious cosmic rescue mission. He began to choose people who could be transformed into those who love Him. He employed them to be a part of His rescue mission. He prompted some of those people to record His plan in sixty-six books and letters known as the Bible. The fulfilled-predictions and harmony-of-themes in His Word prove that there is loving meaning and purpose behind what appears to be the random chaos of human existence.

In accordance with a 500 year old prophecy in the Book of Daniel, God became a human being. He was born in a location (Bethlehem), and in a miraculous manner (to a virgin Jewish girl), that God had predicted. He was named Jesus, meaning, 'God Saves.' He was acknowledged as the Christ (or Messiah) by the Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit while he was being baptized by John the Baptist. This event took place exactly four thousand years after the Creation.

When Jesus became an adult He left His adopted father's profession of carpentry and began a three and a half year ministry. He taught, prophesied, and performed many miracles. These are further reasons why we know that this man was the Son of God.

In order to redeem us, it was necessary for Jesus to live this miserable life sinlessly, to suffer physical abuse on the last day of His life, and to be put to death through crucifixion. He did so, and then came back from the dead on Easter Sunday.

This is the ultimate proof that He is the Son of God, the Savior of the human race: His bones are not decaying on the earth; He rose from the dead. After giving many proof of His conquest over death, He went upward into heaven. He promised to return on the last day.

He promised to return soon. He will return soon.

When the task of spreading God's message of love is finished, Jesus Christ will descend from the sky and put an end to human history. All death, earthly suffering, diseases, accidents, wars, crimes, disasters, and cruelty will end on that day. There will be a final judgment. All people who have ever lived will be given new bodies that cannot die.

Whomever trusts that God loves us enough to become a man are God's Chosen People—His Special Possession. They will go to heaven and enjoy eternal life. First, the resurrected dead will ascend to heaven; shortly after that those of us who are alive on that day will ascend to heaven.

Whomever doesn't trust that God loves us enough to become a man are not known by God and do not know God. They will go to hell and suffer eternal damnation. Unfortunately, a majority of people will choose to hate God and remain in their fallen nature.

We who are blessed with the embrace of the truth about God cannot boast of it. We did not make a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ and be baptized. The Bible teaches that He chose us—we did not choose Him. The most that can be said is that we stopped fighting against God long enough for the Holy Spirit to be able to save us. Our redemption is an undeserved gift. Nor can it be claimed that we are sinless after our embrace of Christ's salvation. We are in need of the imputation of Christ's righteousness every day—every moment—until we meet Him face-to-face.

It is therefore our duty and privilege to live in penitent obedience to God and to spread the Good News about Jesus—knowing that the time before His return is getting shorter every day.

The meaning of life is to be one with God through Jesus Christ. The purpose of life is to glorify and enjoy the one and only true God.

Read the Three Ecumenical Creeds. Entrust your soul to these truths, and be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Begin a relationship with the Living God, and you will have an abundant life on earth, and eternal life in heaven.
