The Second Coming

The mysteries surrounding Jesus' Second Coming have been hidden from all people until now. This was foretold:

…the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.
[Daniel 12:9, ESV]

In early 2004, the Holy Spirit revealed the following insights:

• the first Antichrist Beast that rises up out of the sea is Arab Islam (Revelation 13:1)
• the second Antichrist Beast that rises up out of the land and exercises all the authority of the first Beast is Turkish Islam (Revelation 13:11)
• the Two Horns Like a Lamb are the ineffectual Seljuk and Ottoman Empires—the latter derided as the 'Sick Man of Europe' (Revelation 13:11)
• the Fire Coming Down from Heaven represents the Turks' early use of gunpowder and cannons (Revelation 13:13)
• the Image that Could Speak are the minarets that surround mosques, and from which the Islamic Call to Prayer is issued five times per day (Revelation 13:14–15)
• the Mark of the Beast is the rug burn that develops in the forehead and palms of anyone who religiously observes the Islamic Call to Prayer (Revelation 13:16–17)
• the Son of Perdition is Muhammad’s cousin, step-son, and son-in-law, Ali—the first convert to Islam (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
• the Great Falling Away, or Apostasy, from Christian orthodoxy that was prophesied to precede the appearance of the Son of Perdition is the rejection of the Dual Nature of Christ by the Eastern Churches in the early seventh century (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
• Ali had a dream of creating a new religion, but he was assassinated by a mortal head wound with a poisoned spear (Revelation 13:3)
• the 666 Number of the Beast is the number of years between the Incarnation (6 BC) of the Son of God, Jesus, and the death (AD 661) of the Son of Perdition, Ali. Exactly six hundred and sixty-six years after Jesus was conceived inside the Virgin's womb, the two major branches of Islam, Sunni and Shi'a, were conceived inside Ali's poisoned brain (Revelation 13:18)
• the 42 'Months' in which the Beast was allowed to exercise authority is the 42 periods of 30 years in which there was a post–Ali Caliphate, from AD 661 to AD 1921 (Revelation 13:5)
• the Islamic Caliphate oppressed the saints for 1260 'days' (years) from AD 661 until the end of the Ottoman Empire, and the passage of the Turkish constitution of AD 1921 (Revelation 11:3)
• this same period of 1260 'days' represents the number of years that Christian peoples were taken into the wilderness of Western Europe, the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand for protection and nourishment (Revelation 12:6)
• the Two Wings of the Great Eagle represents the United States, where the Christian Church was kept safe and nourished. The Church's flight there symbolically ended with the Emergency Immigration Quota Act of AD 1921 (Revelation 12:14)
• the Smoke Rising From a Bottomless Pit represents burning oil wells (Revelation 9:2)
• the Locusts Upon the Earth represent automobiles and other means of petroleum-based transportation (Revelation 9:3)
• 'People Seeking Death and Not Finding It' is a reference to Islamic Jihadists desiring suicide martyrdom (Revelation 9:6)
• the Abomination that Causes Desolation is the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. The inscription in the Dome denies the Holy Trinity and blasphemes Jesus over the very spot where sacrifices were once made in anticipation of the Messiah (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Daniel 12:11)
• the 1290 'Days' is the number of years between the cessation of sacrifice in Solomon’s Temple in 592 BC (Ezekiel 10:18) and the completion of the Dome of the Rock in AD 699 (Daniel 12:11)
• the 1335 'Days' is the number of years between the completion of the Dome of the Rock in AD 699 and the cessation of Islam as a viable world religion in AD 2034 (Daniel 12:12)
• the Thousand Year Reign of the saints with Christ (or Millennium) began with the adoption of the correct phrasing for the Nicene Creed in Rome in AD 1014 (Revelation 20:4)
• the Fall of Babylon the Great is the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001 (Revelation 18)
• when the Millennium ends in AD 2014, the devil will be freed to cause havoc for twenty years—this means an increase in terrorism, war, famine, plague, and natural disasters (Revelation 20:3)
• the Kingdom Thrown Into Darkness are two total solar eclipses that will cover Mecca in AD 2027 and Medina in AD 2034—exactly 6 years, 6 months, 6 weeks, and 6 days apart (Revelation 16:10)
• the False Prophet is Rationalism, or Liberalism, or Evolutionism, which teaches that science can explain the metaphysical mysteries of life. It also teaches that people will eventually live forever through developments in biotechnology, and that the world will last for hundreds of millions of years beyond the present (Revelation 19:20)
• human history will last for a total of 6010 years, as foreshadowed in:
  • the six days of Creation in 3976 BC (Genesis 2:2–3; Hebrews 4:9–10)
  • the 601 year Epic of Noah (Matthew 24:38–39)
  • the establishment of the seventh day Sabbath (Exodus 31:17)
  • Jesus' baptism exactly 4000 years after the Fall of Man (Mark 1:9)
  • the six days that passed before the Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1–2)
  • the Easter morning Resurrection (Mark 16:2–4)
• the Sign of the Son of Man is the asteroid Apophis. It will pass by earth on April 13, 2029, and again even closer exactly seven years later on Easter Sunday, April 13, 2036 (Matthew 24:30)
• Jesus Christ will return from the sky shortly after the second visit of the asteroid Apophis in AD 2036 (2 Peter 3:11–13)
